Origin and Selection
Sourced from the Italian Leather Consortium and Japan, our hides are tanned with natural tannins for an environmentally sustainable lifecycle. For more refined pieces, I select Japanese Ogawa Shell Cordovan; its extraordinary fiber density and inherent luster develop a deep, lasting patina through years of use.
PREPARATION
Precision Skiving.
Consistent thickness is essential. I use a specialized skiving machine to achieve sub-millimeter precision on every component. This technical calibration ensures a balanced hand feel and structural alignment before the first stitch is made.

Precision to 0.4mm
Achieving a thickness equivalent to that of four sheets of paper requires precise mechanical calibration. This accuracy ensures seamless transitions and a refined profile.

CONSTRUCTION
Saddle Stitching.
Hand-sewn for durability, every seam is crafted using the traditional saddle stitch—a technique that machine sewing cannot replicate. Each stitch represents a commitment to structural integrity, ensuring the bond remains secure even after years of daily use.
FINISHING
Edge Burnishing
Protection through patience. Every edge is meticulously hand-burnished to seal the fibers, creating a smooth, refined finish that protects the piece from daily wear and tear.
